How do I book my hotel room?
Once you register for the Annual Meeting, you will receive an email with a link to book a room at the Omni Nashville. We do this to help ensure that everyone who registers for the meeting has a room. You can help provide a positive experience for all attendees by booking rooms only for those who have confirmed registrations.
Who can attend the Annual Meeting?
The Annual Meeting is open to all staff and trustees of Philanthropy Southeast members. Non-members can attend if they are a staff member or trustee of a philanthropic organization that would be eligible for membership under our guidelines. Others connected to the nonprofit sector may attend at our discretion. If you have questions about whether you can attend, please contact Jaci Bertrand at jaci@philanthropysoutheast.org.
What is the refund and cancellation policy?
If you wish to cancel your registration for the Annual Meeting, please contact Quincy Kelly at quincy@philanthropysoutheast.org or by calling (404) 524-0911. If you cancel your registration by October 1, you will receive a full refund, minus a $50 administrative fee. No refunds are available for cancelations made after October 1 for either the in-person or online event. Registrations can be transferred to another person within your organization at any time at no charge. If you have to cancel your registration within 14 days of the Annual Meeting due to COVID-19 symptoms, diagnosis or exposure, you will receive a full refund.
What does a virtual registration include?
We are excited to offer a virtual conference experience that includes livestreams of all keynote and plenary speakers as well as breakout sessions. A virtual registration does not include streaming video of preconference events, meals, receptions or any events taking place outside the Omni Nashville. This year, virtual attendees will use the same mobile app as our in-person attendees to view session videos and access materials. The app will also host live polling, Q&A, session chats and messaging open to all attendees.
When will the Annual Meeting mobile app be available?
The Annual Meeting mobile app is now available for download on both Apple and Android devices. Use the QR codes below to go to the app in your device's store.
What else should I know?
In order to provide the best experience, all Annual Meeting attendees must observe our Code of Conduct:
Philanthropy Southeast is composed of a broad and diverse membership of grantmakers. At our core, we are a community of grantmakers connecting with each other to improve the practice of grantmaking in the Southeast.
At our meetings and events, we also welcome visitors from non-member organizations who attend as presenters or participants. Philanthropy Southeast strives to create a comfortable place for all Members, visitors, and others engaged in philanthropy to exchange experiences and ideas and engage in conversations that are welcoming and of benefit to all participants. As such, Philanthropy Southeast is not a venue for grant seekers, fundraisers, or other types of charitable solicitations during any of its meetings, events or through its publications nor is it an appropriate venue to conduct political activities. We ask that our Members and visitors not solicit at Philanthropy Southeast-sponsored events or programs and that Members and visitors not use information obtained through their Philanthropy Southeast membership or participation in Philanthropy Southeast events for charitable, business or other solicitations outside of those events.
